General Admissions

Admissions to Weatherford College is based on an open-door philosophy. To qualify for general admissions you must meet the minimum age requirement and have either graduated from an accredited high school or homeschool curriculum, successfully completed the GED test, or transfer from a regionally accredited college. Early Admissions

Students who are still in High School and would like to attend Weatherford College can begin the process by applying for Early Admissions. Students can begin this process by completing by applying online at  Additional forms and information can be found on the Early Admission webpage.

Individual Approval

Students who did not successfully complete a high school program, have not completed the GED, or did not successfully complete the TAKS test, may still be eligible to attend Weatherford College. It is best to speak with an Academic Advisor in Student Affairs to determine your eligibility. 

After Applying

After applying for admissions, you will receive an email that contains your Student username which will allow access to MyWC. 
  • Please allow two business days for your application to be processed. 
  • Items needed after an application is submitted:  
  • If you are a new student, (First Time Freshman) join New Student Orientation once you have received your username.  Orientation will walk you through step by step of the registration process and cover valuable information about being successful at WC.
